Two Boston terriers pose for pet portraits on a tree stump in Ontario park.

I love it when I click with clients (thankfully it happens a lot!) – it makes the afternoon so enjoyable and relaxed. Ashley and her fiance Aaron were one of these couples. They were up for anything and totally obliged when I made them walk, and walk, and walk some more at their Lowville Park pet photography session in Burlington! And the stars of this session also made my day: Zelda, a two-year-old Boston terrier and Bowzer, a two-year-old Boston terrier/American bulldog mix were the perfect balance of bouncy and well behaved. I just love these faces – so much character!
Boston terriers, pet photography at Lowville park, photo. This is Zelda. She has the cutest little smooshed up face and antenna ears, and I love her one blue eye.

And her brother Bowzer, who his owners say has perfected the long-suffering look. I think he’s pretty handsome!

Small dog chases ball, jumps and plays. These two were so accommodating, they put up with all my requests … not only did they stand on these stumps, but even threw in a few smiles and head tilts for good measure!

And then Zelda got bit on the paw by an ant and decided enough was enough with this whole photo session business — such a diva :).

All in all, a beautiful day, with a fun couple and two playful, bouncy Bostons – really, I couldn’t ask for anything better!
