Mya | Playful pet photography in Ontario fall colours

Natural, candid dog photography by GTA pet portrait photographer.

This year, fall in Ontario was nothing short of spectacular. Some years it comes and goes so fast, but this year, the colours seemed to really last. I met Mya, a young golden retriever-shepherd mix on a pretty fantastic day during the peak of the season. The sun was out, the colours were outstanding and Mya, well, she is a treat to photograph. Her guardians aren’t too shabby either 😉

There’s something pretty special about doing playful pet photography in Ontario fall colours, but with autumn now behind us and our first sprinkle of snow, the landscape has changed once again, and I’m looking forward to the fun, outdoor-loving folks who are willing to brave a winter session — the temperatures are a little chilly, but the pay-off is pretty great! After a great season of colour, I’m actually looking forward to the crisp white background of winter.

I have a few more fall sessions to share before the end of the year (in between holiday shopping and baking!). Thanks for joining me on our fun afternoon romp Mya and family!
