tessa | puppy love in Waterloo
Ah, puppies — so darn cute and lovable, but such a challenge to photograph! I met three-month-old cockapoo Tessa for a Waterloo puppy photography session and she was a typical little furball — full of energy and always on the go!
Tessa’s new family includes 12-year-old cockapoo Elliotte, who just isn’t sure about the entire baby sister situation yet. As their owner says, “Their relationship is what you would expect between an old woman who just wants to relax and a little baby who just wants to play all the time. When they’re both tired, they snuggle together on the couch, which is really cute. Tessa is learning the “off” command, which is really helping, but she still thinks Ellie’s long fluffy tail is a chew toy.”
Not only is Tessa teaching the kids in the family about the responsibility of caring for a pet, but she’s also bringing the joy of seeing the world through a new puppy’s eyes to the family: the expression on her face when she hears a Canada goose, getting scared of the vacuum cleaner, rolling an empty coffee cup around the floor, and bounding up to them with her sweet little tail wagging at 90 miles an hour.
Spending an evening with a carefree, wriggly, goofy puppy is the best way to end a day! Thank you Lori and family for choosing me to photograph the newest addition to your family!
