Roo | Late summer dog photography in Oakville

I have so many pet photography sessions that I haven’t shared, but I just can’t seem to get around to blogging about them. I try to be more active on Instagram and post more  images on that platform, so be sure to follow me there!

I met up with aussiedoodle Roo, 2, for some late summer dog photography in Oakville. This session was a gift from the family’s adult children to their mother – how nice is that? We met in an Oakville green space, and after a few photos of everyone together, I spent the rest of the session focused on the sweetest furry face – Roo’s eyes in particular are quite striking and filled with expression. She’s still a young pup, so there was lots of fun and energy during our walk along the trail!

Roo’s expressions went from goofy to serious, which made her a real treat to photograph.

And there were the usual shananigans, which I made sure to document! I always strive to capture a pet’s personality and Roo was precocious – she wasn’t supposed to eat the foliage and she knew it, but how can you get mad at that guilty face?
