paw prints in the sand | burlington pet photography
This session location was pretty amazing — I can only share one detail shot, since the images are surprise Christmas gift — but it was a Burlington pet photography session on the shores of Lake Ontario. It was my first time shooting at the beach, and aside from some sand in the camera bag, it was tons of fun! I will definitely be using this spot again! The best part is that we were there in the early morning, which allowed for lots of off-leash frolicking, since we had the beach to ourselves. These paw prints are only a small hint at the good time that we had here.
I used to live and work in downtown Oakville, Ont., (a short drive from this very spot) and I always felt very fortunate that I could walk to the lake. There is something about living close to the water that is both calming and invigorating at the same time. I now live about 20 minutes away, and not only do I have the ability to spend the afternoon by the water, but I’m also in close proximity to several conservation areas and the Bruce Trail, which provides endless session location possibilities.
One day I would like to be able to walk to the beach again. Of course, I would also have constant wet dog smell in my house … Chloe would be in heaven!
Wags,
Stacey
