Ripley & Lola | Dog photography in Burlington, Ontario
Ripley and Lola are the classic tale of two siblings who are complete and total opposites. Lola, a dachshund/miniature pinscher, is the older sister at five years old, and Ripley, a handsome long-hair wiener dog with a flowing red coat, is the new addition. He’s almost two, and has only been with the family for about six months. The following image sums up their personalities to a tee.
Ripley is very quiet, calm and easygoing – he’s the snuggler of the family, content to always be at your feet. Lola, on the other hand, barely stood still during our entire session – constantly running (more like flying) the perimeter of her yard’s fence, chasing a squirrel or a bird, even if they only existed in her imagination. High-energy doesn’t quite do this girl justice – she’s a little high-strung and turbocharged all the time. Their two unique personalities made for some fun dog photography in Burlington, Ontario.
Yes, sometimes wierd things happen at a Happy Tails session, like two-tiered posing.I kind of fell in love with Ripley – his one blue eye and one brown eye and snuggly disposition made me want to take him home with me! Thanks for a fun afternoon, and a special thanks to crazy nut Lola for sitting still for 2.5 seconds so I could get a few shots!
Wags,
