Chelsea | Mississauga pet photographer

Natural, modern and candid outdoor pet portraits in Toronto and GTA.

I’m a little behind on blogging sessions, so although it is spring and the flowers are out and the grass is green, you’ll have to think back to late fall — early December specifically — for Chelsea’s session. Chelsea is a Portuguese water dog who loves her mom, must have something in her mouth at all times, and of course, loves the water! We met on a trail behind her house for our late afternoon session, and despite the lack of activity on the trail to entice any trouble, Chelsea still found lots of mischief to get into. For starters, she insisted on carrying this glove in her mouth — she grabbed it from home and carried it until she found something … more interesting to to carry. More on that later.

I showed this image to her mom without removing the leash just because it made me chuckle. But her mom absolutely loved it because it perfectly captured Chelsea’s personality and the kind of mischief she gets into, so after removing the leash she ordered it on a large canvas, which now hangs in her living room — I love dog people! Thanks for showing me your trail, river and, um, new chew toy Chelsea — it was great fun being your Mississauga pet photographer!
