Rescue pets find a home | Hamilton pet photographer

Urban dog photography in Hamilton, Ontario.

If you’re passionate about animal welfare and work at the local humane society, chances are you’ll adopt a rescue pet. Or two .. or three. Or in Megan’s case, four.

This pack includes Cash, a handsome rottie mix who was adopted from a rescue, and feline siblings Bernie (orange and white), Ollie (black) and Lloyd (grey), who were all adopted from the humane society. Although full of rambunctious energy, Cash is a patient guy who routinely has his dog bed confiscated by the cats and even wore a tie for part of our session. The cats each have distinct personalities — Ollie is the confident and affectionate one, Lloyd is more shy and independent and Bernie is the classic curious and friendly feline.

Megan’s cosy house is small, but filled with so much furry love! I love it when rescue pets find a home — photographing them and meeting their big-hearted owners is a real treat. Thanks for the fun afternoon … and Cash, I hope you got your bed back!
