royal botanical garden lilacs | burlington pet photographer
Sping will turn into summer in a few weeks, but I did manage to catch that most magical time of year when nature comes alive and the colours awaken from their winter slumber. A sure sign of spring for me is the annual blooming of the lilac trees (and the rosebuds and crab apples — all equally stunning), and there is no better place to enjoy their splendor than the lilac dell at the Royal Botanical Gardens — there are more than 600 species and cultivars of common lilacs.
I managed to sneak in an impromptu dog photography session at the peak of the bloom season. Aside from its beauty and gorgeous pastel tones, it is the most fragrant session location ever!
Keep an eye on the blog for a full session post soon!
Also, summer sessions are still booking — let’s enjoy a fun afternoon in nature together with Fido and capture some wonderful memories! Drop me a note at stacey@happytailspetphotography.ca.
