shih tzu at mill pond park | milton dog photography
I met Teddy on a crisp November afternoon in Milton’s Mill Pond Park. This was actually the first time I’ve held a Milton dog photography session at this location — it is a really popular spot for photos and at any given time it is pretty overrun with photographers, which is something I try to avoid. I decided to photograph Teddy on the less-travelled side of the park, and despite having to abandon one spot (a photographer had already claimed it!) we got some amazing images of this nine-year-old rescue shih tzu.
It was important to Teddy’s mom to capture some of the fall colours and she was a little concerned that the trees were starting to look bare. But, really, leaves on the ground are just as good as on the branches when it comes to pet photography!
Teddy is quite a character. He is has tons of energy for a senior boy, and I just love his smile and little snaggletooth.
There’s that snaggletooth.
Teddy’s two main expressions: furrowed concern and HAPPY!
Snaggletooth.
Aw, kisses. Love the love going on here. Thanks for sharing with me Teddy and Sheena!
Wags,
Stacey
